Toni Kaatz-Dubberke holds a Diplom (Master equivalent) in Political Science from Leipzig University. At the Hertie School, he completed the Executive Master of Public Administration programme with a concentration in governance and management and is interested in the intersection between digitalisation and public sector innovation. Toni works as Advisor for Sustainable Urban Development at the German development agency GIZ. For eight years he has focussed on good local governance, working in different positions together with Asian and African city administrations and ministries as well as in civil society. He also worked as Senior Analyst on national artificial intelligence (AI) strategies at the US-based AI consulting start-up Cambrian Group.
