Toya Bock completed her Bachelor of Arts in International Business Administration from the Berlin School of Economics and Law. This was a corporate study programme, including five three-month internships at different departments of IBM in Germany and Romania and one three-month internship at Deutsche Aidshilfe. Before doing her bachelor’s degree, Toya completed a year of voluntary service as a high school teacher in Camden, New Jersey. At the Hertie School she focused on the role of institutions in security and sustainability. She also took part in an exchange semester at the L Luiss Guido Carli in Rome. While studying at the Hertie School she completed a three-month internship at PwC, focusing on public sector consulting and gained professional experience as a Human Resources Assistant in her student job at an education provider. Toya is very passionate about creating social impact.
