Viviane Schilling obtained a Bachelor of Arts in European Studies at Maastricht University in 2015. Her Master of Public Policy degree complements her acquired knowledge, particularly in the field of management and leadership of NGOs and foundations. Prior to and during her studies, she gained practical experience in journalism, the public and the third sector: the daily newspaper taz, die tageszeitung., the German Bundestag, the German Environmental Agency, the German Federal Anti-Discrimination Agency, Amnesty International and Kiron Open Higher Education. She is particularly interested in mindfulness and educational reform, which is why she will join the two-year leadership programme of Teach First and work within a school setting to help young individuals from difficult personal backgrounds discover their potential and obtain a high school degree.
