Anaswara Kovithal has a multidisciplinary education, with a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and a Postgraduate Diploma in Liberal Arts from Ashoka University. Prior to joining the Hertie School, she worked on scaling up social innovation models through the public-private-people partnerships model to impact last mile health delivery in rural India. At the Hertie School, she studied public policy with a specialisation in public sector innovation and digitalisation. She did an exchange semester at the Graduate Institute Geneva where she focused on healthcare at the intersection of social innovation and global health agenda setting. In her internship in Geneva, she worked with various United Nations partners and health innovators to landscape digital health innovations in low and middle income countries.
