Jai Venaik specialised in foreign policy decision making, international organisations and European Union governance during his studies. Alongside his graduate studies he held research positions with the Campbell Public Affairs Institute at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs in Syracuse, New York and the Office of the President at the Hertie School in Berlin. Before that, he worked as a researcher with Members of Parliament in India, at the Samriddhi Foundation in Nepal and at the Centre for Civil Society in India. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies and Liberal Arts from Symbiosis International University in India.
