Mareike Fürst holds a Bachelor of Arts in European Studies from Maastricht University and spent a semester abroad at Sciences Po Paris. While pursuing her MPP at the Hertie School, she focused on policy analysis, economic and development policy, as well as European governance. Her professional experience includes working with the United Nations System Staff College, as well as with the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung in Tunis and Mexico City in the field of international development. Mareike is very interested in sustainable development, circular economy, economic inequality and European Union (EU) governance.
