Sophie Giulini is driven by her interest in the role of private companies in sustainable development and the place of government in regulating responsible business conduct. Sophie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, Politics and Economics with a minor in corporate management from Zeppelin University. At the Hertie School she studied public policy, specialising in policy analysis. During her Professional Year, Sophie worked for the Secretary of the Partnership of Sustainable Textiles in the area of social standards, at the German development agency GIZ. Her other professional experience includes work for private and public organisations including Bahlsen, the German Economic Representation at the United Nations, VAUDE and KPMG.
