Leonie Neuhäuser is a PhD candidate at the Hertie School and Research Associate to Prof. Slava Jankin. Her research focuses on developing computational methods for data-driven decision making in public policy. Her main research interests are in network science and natural language processing. She holds a Master of Science in Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing from the University of Oxford. Previously, she studied mathematics and psychology in Germany at Universität Bonn and in Mexico at Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla. She has also gained practical experience working for the German Federal Foreign Office in Saudi Arabia.
