Recruitment and admissions team visits the US, South America, Europe and more.
Throughout the coming months, the Hertie School recruitment and admissions team will head out to far-flung places, attending study fairs, hosting coffee chats for prospective students, and meeting up with Hertie School alumni and partner universities. These events offer opportunities for prospective students to get to know our graduate programmes such as the Master of Public Policy, Master of International Affairs and Executive Master of Public Administration and meet face to face with Hertie School staff and alumni.
Benjamin Steffen, Director Student Recruitment and Admission, emphasises the commitment to these international visits: "As an international university, it is very important to us to engage with people who are interested in studying at the Hertie School, no matter whether they come from Germany, Europe or elsewhere. Meeting them in person at a fair or at one of our coffee chats, gives us a chance to get to know them better and answer all their questions in person."
Starting in October, the team will travel to the United States, Colombia and the United Arab Emirates. Later this year they will tour Europe as well as Germany:
The Hertie School also opens its doors for prospective students on 19 October for our Open Day. During the day visitors will get the chance to meet students, chat to academics, and talk with staff, in order to get answers to all their questions about the graduate programmes, admissions process, career opportunities, student life, financial aid and much more.
