Young Pakistani activist Malala Yousafzai came in second, followed by Matternet CEO Andreas Raptopoulos in third place. Dean Helmut Anheier and Henrik Enderlein were part of the 2013 Handelsbatt jury who nominated, among others, Pope Francis, Angela Merkel and Susanne Klatten as “persons of the year”.
