Politico and Der Spiegel publish details of security and defence report to be released by MSC, Hertie School's CISP and McKinsey.
Politico.eu reported on 23 November that Europe will need up to €41 billion annually to modernise its military and meet the challenges of digitalisation, citing a new report by the Munich Security Conference, the Centre for International Security Policy at the Hertie School of Governance and McKinsey & Co. An article in the 23 November issue of Der Spiegel also included details of the report, saying that Europe's defence forces are inefficient and ill-prepared for a crisis.
