Pola Schneemelcher holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from the University of Münster and a Bachelor of Science in European Studies from the University of Twente. At the Hertie School, she studied public policy with a focus on economic policy, financial markets and fiscal reforms. Her professional experience spans working as a policy advisor for the fiscal policy spokesman in the German Parliament, as a consultant for Green Budget Germany (FÖS) – a market-oriented eco-fiscal policy NGO – and interning at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) Vietnam, in the department for economic development and green growth. Furthermore, Pola is the recipient of a scholarship from the German Academic Scholarship Foundation.
