Join our Executive MPA Graduation ceremony!
We are thrilled to announce our intention to host a presence-based graduation ceremony for Executive MPA graduates who completed their degrees in 2020 and 2021.
As some graduates, or their families, will be unable to travel to Berlin in September, we will live-stream the ceremony, allowing individuals to participate virtually from wherever they are based and bring together our global community.
Friday, 10 September 2021
3:00 pm – 4:00 pm CEST | Thesis poster reception
4:00 pm CEST | Group photo
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm CEST | Graduation ceremony
Each Executive MPA graduate will receive a special gift – including the Hertie School graduation scarf. Graduates who have already received their diploma and scarf last year are requested to bring dise with them to the ceremony. Those who haven't received them yet and will attend in person will receive their gift at the ceremony; graduates who participate virtually will be sent the first to their preferred mailing address. We are doing our best that these packages will arrive in time – meanwhile make sure we received your current address and stay tuned and get ready to join us on 10 September!
Further details on any COVID-19 regulations will be provided in due course. If you have any questions, please email events[at]hertie-school[dot]org.

The ceremony is scheduled on Friday, 10 September 2021 from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm CEST; a reception will follow the ceremony. A separate thesis poster reception will not take place, rather graduates are invited to present their thesis posters on 10 September from 3:00 - 4:00 pm CEST.
Each graduate can bring up to 3 guests to the venue.
We are planning the 10 September events based on current rules and restrictions for events in Berlin, for which there remain social distancing requirements and restrictions on the size of events. At present, all attendees must present a negative Corona Antigen test, no older than 24 hours, or a certificate that you are fully vaccinated (+14 days following the last vaccination) or proof of recovery from a SARS-COVID-19 infection. Graduates and their guests will receive up to date instructions about current regulations closer to the ceremony.
