Visit the Hertie School after work to learn more about our Executive Master of Public Administration (EMPA) programme, take a tour of campus and chat. Join us for a reception to find out more about our flexible mid-career programme for working professionals.

Are you interested in pursuing the Executive Master of Public Administration at the Hertie School in Berlin? We would like to welcome you to our  campus Monday, 12 June, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm CEST to learn more about the executive master's programme, the application process, partial scholarships and how the Hertie School can help you acquire the tools you need to effect positive change in the public, private and non-profit sectors.

Executive MPA students specialise in one of three areas of concentration:

  • Leading innovation and managing change
  • Digitalisation and big data
  • Global governance challenges

This event will include a welcome reception, followed by an infosession from our Admisisons Team and a presentation from our Prof. Dr. Thurid Hustedt, Dean of Graduate Programmes and Professor of Public Administration and Management at the Hertie School.

Speaker

Thurid Hustedt

  • Thurid Hustedt is Dean of Graduate Programmes and Professor of Public Administration and Management at the Hertie School. Her research focuses on public sector change dynamics, political-administrative relations and comparative public administration. Hustedt is the Managing Editor of the peer-reviewed journal dms – der moderne Staat (with Sylvia Veit). Previously, she was a visiting professor at the Freie Universität Berlin and a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Potsdam. She was a visiting researcher at the University of Bergen and the University of Toronto. Hustedt holds a PhD and a Diploma in Public Administration from Potsdam University.
