Research event

AI for conflict prediction and prevention

The workshop brings together scholars from conflict research with an interest in quantitative approaches to early warning and early action, with scholars from data science and computer science.

It aims to develop a project proposal that seeks to advance conflict prediction and prevention by drawing on recent developments in artificial intelligence (AI). The workshop directly responds to a call for project applications by the VW foundation that links AI to societal challenges.

It is supported by the Political Economy Lunch Seminar (PELS).
