A talk by by Hertie School alumna Shirley Bennet (Senior Program Manager at Gavi).
Hertie School alumna Shirley Bennet (MPP 2007) is Senior Program Manager at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance with over ten years of international experience in global health, governance and project management.
Since leaving Hertie in 2007 she has worked in Geneva at WHO, the Global Fund and the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS). Shirley managed the transition of the Stop TB Partnership from WHO to UNOPS – this involved transitioning personnel, contracts, grants as well as tangible and intangible assets, offering her unique insights into two UN agencies in Geneva.
She will discuss her career trajectory in global health and international institutions after Hertie and talk about her current work. Afterwards you will have the opportunity to ask questions.
