Policymakers, change agents, and fellow academics join us to share ideas across disciplines and sectors aimed at advancing and implementing knowledge on social innovation and organisational strategies.

In the first session, initial insights from SEFORÏS will be presented, a multidisciplinary research programme on the potential of social enterprises in the EU and beyond to enhance the inclusiveness of societies and economies. We will explore how social enterprises in different institutional contexts make use of organisational governance arrangements to tackle social problems.

The Knowledge Initiative on Organisations and Society (KIOS) strives to become a leading European hub for research on how different types of organisations tackle societal challenges. Our objective is to document and analyse organisational strategies and the role of innovation in societal progress and institutional change through European-based and globally-relevant research anchored in the social sciences. We facilitate research-based interaction with stakeholders across sectors to improve social innovation, inform policymaking, and inspire the next generation of decision makers.

This event is by invitation only. If you have questions, please contact Ira Breitkreuz (breitkreuz[at]hertie-school[dot]org).
