#StayIn #ThinkOut: International Security in Times of COVID-19 #5

Join us for the fifth edition of the virtual discussion series #StayIn #ThinkOut: International Security in Times of COVID-19 hosted by the Centre for International Security. This time Santiago López-Cariboni, Luciana Cingolani, and Gabriel Tarriba Martinez Lopez will talk about “COVID-19 and Latin America”.

This week’s discussion will be all about the effects that COVID-19 has on Latin America, with a particular focus on the long-term implications for cooperation between countries in the region. 

Santiago López-Cariboni, Associate Professor at the Departamento de Economía (dECON) at the Universidad de la República Uruguay, will focus on Uruguay. Luciana Cingolani, Assistant Professor of Public Administration at the Hertie School, will add her insights on Argentina, followed by Gabriel Tarriba Martinez Lopez, PhD researcher at the Hertie School, who will share his knowledge on Mexico. 

The event will be chaired by Marina Henke, Professor of International Relations and Director of the Centre for International Security.
