Hit and heal? The ambivalence of rebel conflict management in the Syrian civil war

Regine Schwab will present her article, “Hit and heal? The ambivalence of rebel conflict management in the Syrian civil war", which examines the interaction between violent and nonviolent strategies in interrebel conflicts in multiparty civil wars. Her research on this subject will introduce the concept of rebel conflict management to international security studies. 

Regine Schwab is a PhD Candidate in Political Science at Goethe University Frankfurt. She recently finished her PhD thesis, and will be commencing a position as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt in May.
