Student event

Women in digital governance

Join us as we discuss women in digital governance with Christine Heinrich (ITZBund), Carla Hustedt (Stiftung Mercator) and Mariana de La Roche (IOTA Foundation).

The event will be moderated by Daniela Stockmann (Professor of Digital Governance at the Hertie School).

It is important to recognize the challenges we face in the digital sector as we strive for a gender-balanced industry. While there are some areas within digital where we are seeing more women pursue careers, we still have a shortage of women pursuing careers in the digital professions overall. One of the challenges for young women is finding role models to identify themselves with.

So, how can we better support the development of women in digital governance? And what can be done to encourage more women of all ages and experience levels to pursue a career in this field?

This event is part of the event series entitled "Career perspectives in digital governance" co-hosted by the Hertie School's Career development team and the Centre for Digital Governance

Registration is now closed.
