Students talk to Angela Merkel, David Cameron and Jens Stoltenberg

Hertie School students were among 100 international Berlin-based students who discussed the future of democracy, new approaches to the relationship between citizens and related questions with Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, David Cameron, and Prime Minister of Norway Jens Stoltenberg in the Federal Chancellery in Berlin on Thursday, 7 June 2012. The debate gave students from across the globe the opportunity to exchange views with each other and these heads of government on how democracy, political culture and the relationship between citizens and the state are changing, especially as a result of the revolution in information and communication technology.
