Podcast: Reward and punishment - Inside China’s social credit system

New podcast from the latest student-led public event at the Hertie School.

A panel discussion at the Hertie School on 29 November addressed China's plans to implement a framework for a nation-wide social credit system to guide the behaviour of individuals, businesses and organisations.  The event was part of The Governance Post event series, a student-led public event initiative at the Hertie School, and was chaired by Hertie School doctoral candidate Wiebke Rabe

Discussants were Adam Knight, a researcher and journalist focusing on the intersection between public and private actors in the regulation of China's online sphere, and Genia Kostka, Fellow at the Hertie School and Professor of China Studies at the Freie Universität Berlin.
