The Centre for International Security at the Hertie School offers fellowships to individuals who are based in Berlin and work in international security. We are particularly interested in the four key research areas of the Centre: Nuclear security, states and non-state actors, grand strategy, as well as digital technology and security.

Stipends and sholarships
The Hertie School in cooperation with the Centre for International Security offers up to two full scholarships for upcoming MIA students, each worth 32,500 EUR. Application deadline is 1 May 2020.
Climate change, cyber-warfare, nuclear weapons, terrorism – the security challenges facing the international community in the 21st century are diverse and complex. The International Security Policy Scholarship is intended for MIA applicants with demonstrated academic or professional interest in international security and the challenges that arise in a complex, global multi-level system.
