Jacques Delors Institut – Berlin

The Jacques Delors Institut – Berlin is a joint project by the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin and Notre Europe – Jacques Delors Institute in Paris. It was established in early 2014 as a research-based think tank to contribute towards a better policy debate on Europe in Germany. It is directed by Henrik Enderlein, who is Professor of Political Economy at the Hertie School of Governance. It will primarily focus on four core areas of European integration: economic and monetary union, institutional aspects and political integration, European energy policy (with a particular focus on the German “Energiewende”), and labour markets and social policy. The core budget comes from the two mother institutions with further financing from project work and donations.
