- Staatsbibliothek (Berlin State Library) is Germany’s largest academic library. Registration is free (register).
- KOBV (Berlin-Brandenburg Library Network) connects university, public, and special libraries in the region. Use the KOBV Portal to search catalogues, articles, and interlibrary loan options.
- Many university libraries in Berlin offer free or low-cost membership to external users. Check individual websites for details.
- VÖBB (Berlin Public Library Network) includes over 80 libraries. Members have access to print and digital resources (ebooks, audiobooks, streaming). Annual fees: €10 (adults), €5 (students).
