Christine Reh on the future of the European project

Professor of European Politics shared her insights in an NDR panel discussion.

In the COVID-19 crisis and beyond, the European Union has faced major governance challenges. The German public broadcaster NDR convened a panel of EU experts for its Hintergrund talk show to discuss the future of the European project in light of its current struggles. Dean of Graduate Programmes and Professor of European Politics Christine Reh was among them.

"I believe the EU has no chance of coming out of this crisis if national governments don't stand behind it," Reh said on the program, which aired on 21 July.

The discussion was held as part of the Herrenhäuser Gesprächen series.
