Hertie School recognised as research entity by Eurostat

Access to European microdata expands opportunities for researchers, students.

The Hertie School is officially recognised as a research entity with Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union.

As a recognised research entity, researchers and students at the Hertie School can now request microdata -- sets of records containing information on individual persons, households or business entities. This is done by submitting research proposals, which are then assessed by Eurostat and the national statistical authorities.

With this distinction, the Hertie School joins an elite list of universities, think-tanks and research institutions, greatly expanding the research capabilities of Hertie School doctoral students, research associates, postdoctoral researchers and faculty.
