You're invited: Climate Change and the EU: From Evidence to Action / 28 October 2021

The 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) will be held from 31 October to 12 November 2021, where parties all across the globe will accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.  

As part of CIVICA’s Public Lecture Series: Tours d'Europe, Sciences Po will host a discussion between students and researchers on climate policy ahead of COP26. Speakers and students will discuss the regional, national and international proposals to mitigate climate change, and share their opinions on the EU’s role in global climate governance. 

This discussion will be moderated by economic journalist, Dalal Mawad and reputable speakers include Carola Klöck from Sciences Po, Sebastian Levi from the Hertie School Centre for Sustainability, László Pintér from the Central European University, and Swenja Surminski from the London School of Economics.

The event will take place online, on 28 October 2021, from 5:30 till 7:30pm CET.
