Digital mobility platform receives honourable mention at “B4DPA” competition organised by Bocconi University.
Congratulations to MPP students Alix Auzepy and Katharina Bella for receiving honourable mention at the recent Bocconi for Digital Public Administration Award “B4DPA” competition! Organised by Bocconi University alongside the Team for Digital Transformation of the Italian government and the City of Milan, the goal of this competition was to encourage innovation in Italy’s public administration. Alix and Katharina, along with fellow Bocconi student Mariama Holman, took second-place for their project M3, Make Milano Move, which streamlines all mobility options (including payment) in Milan within one app – public transportation, car, bike and scooter sharing services.
In December, M3 was named as one of seven finalists, out of the 42 submitted projects from 129 students at 16 universities in Italy and abroad. At the finals on 8 March, M3 was bested only by one other project: a digital real estate platform to improve the purchase or sale of homes.
Alix and Katharina are pursuing a dual degree at Bocconi University. As winners of honourable mention, they will have the chance, starting in April, to participate in one of the four concentrations of the Master of Public Administration at the SDA Bocconi School of Management.
