Centre for Fundamental Rights co-hosted a webinar with members of the Human Rights Measurement Initiative (HRMI)

HRMI researchers presented the initiative for measuring human rights – from civil and political rights to socio-economic rights, and the methodology employed for measuring human rights performances of countries.

This webinar was jointly hosted by the Centre for Fundamental Rights and the Hertie School’s Data Science Lab on 27 April 2022. Human Rights Measurement Initiative members Stephen Bagwell (University of Missouri St. Louis), Meridith LaVelle (University of Georgia), Asia Parker (University of Georgia), Matthew Aaron Rains (University of Georgia), and Annie Watson (Middle Georgia State University) presented HRMI’s initiative to create a free accessible database that summarises and compares human rights protection in countries around the world.
