The Energy Modelling Platform for Europe (EMP-E) is a forum for exchanging research, development and practice of energy system modelling in Europe and promoting the sharing of data and resources. Its annual conference will take place digitally, on 26-28 October 2021.
This year, the Sentinel project will be the convenor of the conference. Sentinel is a large-scale EU research initiative to improve quality, transparency, and policy relevance of energy system modelling, in which the Hertie School Centre for Sustainability has its share. Under the lead of Prof. Lion Hirth, our researchers are testing their power market model EMMA and developing an online platform for continuous exchange between modellers working on the European energy system and transition.
We’d like to cordially invite you to actively contribute to this event. The call for abstracts for this year’s edition of the conference has opened, with the deadline on 15th June 2021. To learn more, please visit the official website of the EMP-E.
