US elections: What’s at stake for Europe?

Wolfgang Ischinger spoke on the Politico podcast about how the US elections may impact transatlantic relations.

Wolfgang Ischinger, Hertie School Senior Professor of Security Policy and Diplomatic Practice and former German ambassador to the US, and Radosław Sikorski, Polish member of the European Parliament and former defense minister and foreign minister, came together for the latest episode in Politico’s pop-up podcast series “Campaign Confidential.”

Hosted by David M. Herszenhorn, they discussed questions around the US elections and the potential consequences for Europe: will the transatlantic relationship be able to survive another term of Donald Trump? What kind of changes can we expect if Joe Biden wins instead?
