What's new? | Hertie Alumni November

Explore the latest edition of the Hertie School newsletter.

In the first week of November, all eyes were on the elections in the United States. Our students, faculty and researchers closely observed the developments across the Atlantic through in-course activities, public events and panel discussions, and countless media appearances to offer our expertise and perspectives on the impact of the election both domestically and for Europe.

As in many parts of the world, Germany is also going through a second wave of COVID-19 infections. At the Hertie School we have endeavoured to remain flexible and pragmatic as regulations continually change in Berlin. Ensuring a safe environment for students, faculty and staff remains our highest priority. While most of our seminars and classes have shifted online, our campus at Friedrichstrasse 180 remains open and accessible to our students.

The need to continue with physical distancing doesn't mean we're not connecting as a community! On the contrary, we are constantly trying to find ways to engage, discuss and keep in touch, drawing on our great community spirit. One such example is Hertie Alumni November, a series of activities and events meant to connect our alumni with one another, and with our current cohorts. We hope you will be able to join us for some of these events!
