Hertie School alumna Claudia Müller among “100 Women of the Year” by Focus magazine

The weekly magazine Focus published their annual list, recognising the work of a hundred women in Germany.

Claudia Müller, founder of Female Finance Forum and Hertie School alumna (MPP 2012) is among one hundred women recognised by the German weekly magazine Focus.

Claudia Müller started her career at the Leibniz-Gemeinschaft as an adviser on science politics and strategy. In 2014, she joined the Deutsche Bundesbank where she was in charge of green finance in the context of the German G20 presidency. In 2017, Müller founded the Female Finance Forum, a company that promotes financial literacy for women, money management and focuses on sustainable investment. In 2020, she published her first book Finanzen – Freiheit – Vorsorge: Der Weg zur finanziellen Unabhängigkeit – nicht nur für Frauen, in which she shares practical advice for achieving financial literacy and successfully managing private finances. 

Claudia is a member of the Hertie School Board of Trustees and the Alumni Council.
