The University of New York Tirana conferred its first honorary degree to Claus Offe for his work in social science.

The Senate of the University of New York Tirana conferred its first honorary degree Doctor Honoris Causa to Professor Claus Offe. The Minister of Education and Sports  Lindita Nikolla delivered the grant speech. The ceremony took place at the National Historical Museum UNESCO Hall on November 30.
