Hertie School Annual report 2014/2015 out now

Read about the first Hertie School doctoral graduates and other highlights from the past year. Plus a web exclusive infographic.

The Annual Report for the Academic Year 2014/2015 is now available for download (in German). Find out more about the latest developments in the Hertie School’s study programmes, faculty, research and outreach.

Three Highlights from 2014/2015

For the first time the Hertie School awarded doctorates to the graduates of its Doctoral Programme in Governance. The students began their studies in 2012 when the School was granted the right to award doctorates.

Four new members joined the faculty: Jan Minx, Franziska Holz, Christian Flachsland and Wolfgang Ischinger are all leading experts in their respective fields. While the first three greatly enriched the Hertie School’s teaching and research capacities in technology, energy and infrastructure, Wolfgang Ischinger has played an instrumental role in getting the Master of International Affairs off to a strong start and will also head-up the new Centre of Security Studies.

The Hertie School’s new Practice Council, consisting of representatives from renowned companies and organisations, advises the School’s management and staff on how to best prepare its graduates for the labour market.
