Michaela Kreyenfeld was elected to the board of the German Society for Demography (DGD) at the organisation’s annual congress in Leipzig. The professor of sociology at the Hertie School joins new President Gabriele Doblhammer, professor at Rostock University, and her fellow board members for a period of three years. The DGD is an independent association of scholars and practitioners active in the field of demography.
