Ahead of the first meeting of German government coalition leaders this year, Andrea Römmele, Professor of Communication in Politics and Civil Society, comments on various proposals of the CDU, CSU and SPD and conflicts within the coalition. The SPD stipulated in the coalition agreement that there must be a review of the coalition's achievements after two years, and Römmele notes that current differences put the spotlight on this potential breaking point.
