Lukas Böhm is a PhD candidate at the Berlin Graduate School for Global and Transregional Studies. His research, which is supervised by Prof. Markus Jachtenfuchs, investigates the causes of the current globalisation 'backlashes'. Before joining the Hertie School, he worked for the Social Democratic Party of Germany and the United Nations. Furthermore, he has been a Research Assistant at the University of Mannheim's research centre, where he worked in the research unit "Political economy of reforms". He also interned at the German Representation to the United Nations in New York. He holds a dual Master's degree in International Affairs from Sciences Po Paris and the London School of Economics and Political Science, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Mannheim.
