Casper Claassen is a PhD candidate researching social entrepreneurship in South Korea. He holds degrees from the University of Pretoria, the Academy of Korean Studies, and the KDI School of Public Policy and Management. Previously, he worked as a part-time Junior Lecturer at the University of Pretoria, as a published Research Assistant for the World Bank Group's Global Delivery Initiative, and as a Consultant for the Korea International Cooperation Agency. He has been a Visiting Student Researcher at both Stanford University's Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society and Seoul National University's Graduate School of Public Administration. He is a recipient of both the Korea Foundation Field Research Fellowship and the Academy of Korean Studies Fellowship.
