Adriana Cuppuleri is a PhD candidate at the School of International Studies at the University of Trento. Her research interests include regional primacy and great powers’ neighbourhood policies. She combines QCA and process tracing to find out under which conditions Russia uses military force in the post-Soviet space. She holds an MA in Interdisciplinary Research and Studies on Eastern Europe (University of Bologna and St. Petersburg State University) and a BA in Modern Languages (University of Bologna). She has been guest researcher at the Copenhagen University and at the Willy Brandt School-University of Erfurt. She is fluent in Russian, German, English and Italian.
