Toni Kaatz-Dubberke works as a project lead at the German development agency GIZ ("Sector Programme Digital Development"). At the Hertie School, he completed the Executive Master of Public Administration programme with a concentration in governance and management in 2019. He has been working in development cooperation in Asia, Africa and Germany for around ten years, mostly on urban development and good governance.
Following his EMPA at Hertie School, he currently manages a public-private partnership of GIZ and French telecommunication company Orange, through which digital skills trainings for youth employment is provided in 14 countries in Africa and the Middle East. Besides, Toni has researched and published on artificial intelligence and how its power can be harnessed for sustainable development.
