Jack Kennedy is a PhD candidate at the Hertie School, affiliated with the Centre for International Security. His research explores the stability of interactions and the risk of escalation between nuclear-armed states in crisis situations, with a focus on the use of game theory as an analytical tool. He also works as a research assistant on the Raising the Nuclear IQ for a New Nuclear Age project. Prior to Hertie, Jack worked both in the peacebuilding field and as a journalist. He holds a Master of Arts in International Affairs from Johns Hopkins SAIS and a Bachelor of Engineering from Trinity College Dublin.
