Moritz Kleinaltenkamp is a PhD candidate at the Hertie School of Governance. He holds a Master‘s in Technology Policy from the University of Cambridge, a Master‘s in Economics from Peking University, a Bachelor‘s in Political Science from Freie University Berlin, and a China Studies certificate from the University of Turin.
In his studies — which have been funded by the Hertie School, the Yenching Academy, and the University of Turin —, Moritz has focused on the intersection of technology and society. In his PhD project, he draws on Sociology and Management to research the institutionalisation of emerging digital technologies.
Previously, Moritz has gained practical experience working as a policy consultant to the European Commission, and as part of PwC‘s public sector advisory.
