Luis Everdy Mejia has been a PhD researcher at the Hertie School since September 2016, as well as a Research Tutor in the Curricular Affairs team. He holds a Master of Science in Political Economy from the University of Essex in the United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). His current research interests focus on the politics of regulation and regulatory governance. His professional experience comprises positions as a communications manager at AmCham Mexico, a political analyst at Grupo Expansion Mexico, a policy analyst for the Mexican Federal Competition and Energy Regulatory Commissions as well as the National Council for Evaluation of Social Development Policy.
