Kilian Raiser grew up in London, Tashkent and Kiev before attending the United World College of the Atlantic. Moulded by these experiences he has increasingly focused his work and interests on processes of international cooperation with a focus on international climate policy. He holds a Master of Science in Environment and International Development from the University of East Anglia, as well as a Master of Arts in International Affairs from the Hertie School. His thesis at the Hertie School focused on climate-change-induced displacement and its effect on the way we regulate migration under international law. Beyond his academic interests he has worked as a freelance consultant and trainer for interactive teaching methods over the past 2 years.
