Kilian Raiser grew up in London, Tashkent and Kiev before attanding the United World College of the Atlantic. Moulded by these experiences he has increasingly focused his work and interests on processes of international cooperation with a focus on international climate policy. He holds a MSc in Environment and International Development from the University of East Anglia, as well as an MA in International Affairs from the Hertie School of Governance. His thesis at the Hertie School of Governance focused on climate change induced displacement and its effect on the way we regulate migration under international law. Beyond his academic interests Kilian has worked as a freelance consultant and trainer for interactive teaching methods over the past 2 years.
