Oliver Ruhnau is PhD researcher and Research Associate to Prof. Lion Hirth. He is working on the project “model comparison for impact analysis of policy instruments (MODEX-POLINS)”, which is part of the Energy Research Programme of the German Federal Government. His PhD research focuses on the economics of flexible electricity demand and the coupling of electricity, heat, and mobility, as well as interactions with variable renewable energy sources. Previously, he worked as a data scientist at the energy service company "Digital Energy Solutions". He studied economics and engineering at RWTH Aachen University and KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm.
