Alexander Sorg is a PhD researcher at the Centre for International Security and Teaching Assistant for Wolfgang Ischinger at the Hertie School. His research interests include nuclear weapons, alliances and the climate-conflict nexus. In his doctoral thesis at the Centre for International Security, he is focusing on the assurance dimension of foreign deployed nuclear weapons in military alliances. He studied European studies in the Netherlands and Spain and holds a Master of International Affairs from the Hertie School.
