Gabriel Tarriba Martinez Lopez is a PhD researcher at the Hertie School since September 2017. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania (2010) and a Master of Public Policy from the Hertie School (2016). His doctoral research project focuses on the integration of second-generation immigrants in North America and Western Europe. Prior to his doctoral studies, Gabriel worked at Adelphi Consult and the GIZ in Berlin, the Center for Public Policy Studies in Kuala Lumpur, and the Mexican Institute for Competitiveness in Mexico City. His doctoral studies are sponsored by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the National Science and Technology Council of Mexico (CONACYT).
